The Youth Council reports that on Friday, November 9, began to be taught the course "Expression and Creativity Workshop, Resources for Educators and Monitors Hobbies and Leisure", with the participation of 19 young.
This training activity is organized by the Youth Council of the City of Totana and collaborates DG Gender Violence Prevention, Youth, and Reform Legal Protection of Children in the Region of Murcia, through the Regional School of Animation and Time Libre.
The course is designed for educators, teachers and young persons generally interested in the subject.
This course aims to provide tools for education professionals in the leisure time to enable them to enhance their creativity both individually and in groups, and they can incorporate into their practice.
Furthermore, it aims to increase productivity in the creative work of the group, and improve working relationships and socio-emotional development of the people who form the group and expand the potential and originality of the group towards the use of resources at their disposal at the time of plan, program and activities in leisure time with children.
The program is taught that addresses issues such as "What is creativity. Imagine, create, project", "The Body as creative engine. Bodily expressive activities. Rhythm and movement.", "The group as a creative expression," The collective drama.
Creative Materials, "" The use of recycled material for creative expression.
Creations from recycled materials, "Readings and experiences" and "collection and exhibition of the knowledge and experience of the group in relation to the contents."
The workshop lasts thirty hours and will run for four weekends.
This course is the last to be taught within the Training Plan for 2012, has organized the Youth Council in collaboration with the General Directorate of Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, Legal Protection of Children and Reform in the Region of Murcia through the Regional School of Animation and Leisure.
There have been a total of 5 courses which have been made in this Training Plan 2012, the course of Graphic Design and Laughter Therapy workshop, held during the first semester courses Monitor and Leisure, still being taught and ending in January 2013, along with that of leisure and free time to work with young people with intellectual disabilities, during the second semester.
Young people benefit from this training have been 90.
This training aims to respond to the needs of youth in the field of non-formal education and as complementary to formal education and to get in compliance with the provisions of the Municipal Youth Plan in the area of ​​education and training.
The Youth Council continues to invest in training and looking to next year, and is preparing the annual program of training related to various areas: health education, values ​​education, social skills and boosting youth participation, basic training in education in free time, etc..
These actions are aimed at the training, retraining and upgrading of young technicians, members of associations and youth organizations in the field of entertainment and leisure, education, youth programs and activities and in the field of non-formal education.
