On Sunday October 7 was held, organized by the club Totana hiker, the 7th Edition of the Solidarity March.
As in previous editions, this route solidarity had its start and finish at the fairgrounds, city Totana.
The 147 participants gathered at 10 am to go, 8 kilometers by most emblematic place totaneros orchards, beautiful canyon climbing, reaching transfer, and returning to the starting point by way of sports.
This time, the solidarity activity par excellence of this totanero club, had two aspects.
For one, the 710 euros raised by the sale of bonds of solidarity have been fully allocated to the NGOs Anike volunteers, for the construction of a primary school in Burkina Faso, and on the other participants were invited to donate non-food perishable in good condition for Caritas Totana.
From the club Totana walker, wants to thank the participants, their strong collaboration in an activity that combines sport and solidarity as well as the support received by the City of Totana, through its Department of Sports, a neighborhood association San Francisco Quarter and liquor store Manolo Miras.
The next route hikers club will take place on October 21, on Rambla Salada, a spectacular route, along the course of the Rambla de Abanilla that stands out for its landscape peculiarities, as for its technical difficulties.
