The Municipal Group PP Totana has filed a motion for the full June to urge the Council of Ministers of the Government of Spain to articulate mechanisms for repayment of charges and interest rates are made by entities bank financial restructuring.

The motion also requested the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the Council of Ministers to be conditioned, in this financial restructuring to banks to flow to reopen lines of credit to households and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) .

The announcement released this weekend by the Government of Spain concerning the granting by the European Union up to 100,000 million euros in loans to the Fund and Land Bank Restructuring (FROB) to recapitalize the Spanish financial system has attracted most of political debates and forums agencies by the implications for the future of Spain and the Eurozone.

Unlike what happened with Greece, Portugal and Ireland, Spain is a bailout, that is, is the financial sector, banking, who will receive the injection of European capital, and not the entire economy, as in the three former countries, said the PP spokesman, David Amoros.

PP councilor stated in the motion that this decision remains hopeful that rescue the Spanish banking sector that favors credit flowing again, in a reasonable manner, between businesses and families.

Although conditions are not clear, the minister Luis de Guindos said the State was responsible to repay the aid, shuffled some experts that the loan may have to be repaid at an interest rate of 3%, and this interest lie in the State, which would affect the deficit and the resulting adjustments to the citizen's pocket.

Apart from the technical details defined in the coming weeks, so that funds will soon reach the entities that need it and serve effectively to credit recovery, growth and job creation, it is essential that this decision does not directly impact on users, consumers and taxpayers, stated in the motion.

Amoros said that, on the contrary, it rather should provide the conditions for obtaining loans to households and small and medium enterprises that permit consumption and create jobs.
