Many years ago I know Juan Carrion, since I was a kid.
The weather, the vicissitudes of life, the policy options we have grown apart and it would be foolish of me to deny our differences.
But I have to express and publicly acknowledge the hard work, the myriad of proposals, the ability to mobilize John Carrion has had time to work for the people suffering from a rare disease.
John and Naca have been real engines, successfully channeling the confusion, worry, the anguish of families who are in their situation, people with rare diseases who were homeless and without knowing where to go.
During his time as a councilor in the City of Totana, Juan Carrion will probably have many errors, but the most obvious skill, most consistent concern has been claiming, propose initiatives, making proposals to the House that have been associated with rare diseases.
Great sensitivity and ability to work have abounded in the demands and needs of people suffering from rare diseases and their families.
Now that Juan Carrion is postulated as president of the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, I have to say categorically that is mean any information, skewing its political management, tries to discredit this man.
John has been able to mobilize so many people and institutions that can and should play a key role in defending the rights and demands of people with rare diseases and their families.
In these difficult times we are living, I think Juan Carrion can be assured that not cave into oblivion these patients simply because they are minority or because their treatments are very expensive.
From here I want to express my complete and unconditional support for Juan Carrión in his bid for the presidency of the ERDF.
I am totally convinced that the entire Federation valued at its true work of John Carrion of Naca and family D'genes.
