Legaz Vicentina Muñoz has renewed its representation on the Board of Directors of City Center Square Senior Balsa Vieja after being chosen by almost all members during elections held last Wednesday.
Legaz Muñoz won 97 of the 100 votes counted on election day because there were three white and no zero.
Thus, Legaz Vicentina again become the president of the Municipal Center on Aging and a representative of the partners in the Board of Directors, comprising the Mayor Isabel Maria Sanchez, as president, the area councilor Maria Josefa Elderly Sánchez-VP-, and four persons designated by the new president from among the members.
The bid led by this woman was the only one who had submitted to the elections.
Councilwoman Seniors, Josefa Maria Sanchez thanked the partners involved and board members to participate in this electoral process and encouraged them to continue working in the hand of the City Council in achieving the goals set at the last general assembly.
Also congratulated the new president for his involvement and experience in this center and stressed the active participation of older people in the social fabric of this town.
