The Highways Agency has begun work on improving the road between Mazarrón and Totana (RM-315), in the section of village access to this second location from the hamlet of Paretón, as reported by the Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia.
The final award of the work took place late last December and, thus, it is an investment of close to 600,000 euros to help improve driving more than five miles included in the project.
These works are going to undertake after the commissioning of the motorway between Mazarrón and Totana, which road has seen a sharp increase in the number of drivers who travel to and from the Paretón, so this preparation will help to improve the network road in the environment.
Bedia explained that, in particular, is due to resurfacing the road and improving access to housing on both sides of the road.
In addition, improve visibility and drainage, facilitating the movement in case of rain and the conservation of the road.
Finally, he stressed that the planned renovation of all signs in the area to ensure a smooth flow with minimal risk.
It will also contribute to the installation of barriers to protect motorists on the stretches of sharp bends along the five miles in that act.
