"So you see children Easter" (31/03/2011)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Culture, Esther Esparza attended the inauguration of the Exhibition of Drawings V Easter and III of Thrones in Plastilina "So children see the Easter", organized by the Investigation Board Training and Living the Higher Illustrious Cabildo Processions in collaboration with the city of Totana, where students have participated 5 and 6 of primary schools in the locality and catechumens from the churches of the town.

The event, which took place in the Municipal Exhibition Hall "Gregorio Cebrián," began with the traditional sound of the horn and was attended by the Chapter President, Juan María Zamarreño the Nazarene of Honor 2011, Augustine Sarabia, presidents of brotherhoods, members of different delegationships working for Easter, plus many parents, relatives, friends and a large representation of participating children.

This is the fifth time that takes place this exhibition which has been consolidated within the larger program that the council made the occasion of Lent, being an act that has been steadily growing in quality and quantity.

The Investigation Board of Education and Coexistence of Cabildo, as expressed vocal, organized this event for children to express how they see and feel the celebration of Easter totanera.

In addition, the vision of this event showing children from different schools in their work, should serve to encourage participation in such activities, being aware, in a fun, what they mean for totaneros and traditions totaneras and celebrations such as Easter.

In this way, the organization of such initiatives is to instill Christian values, the sense of Nazareth and the particular spirit of Easter totanera.

This exhibition was made possible thanks to the selfless efforts made by teachers of various colleges and the interest and enthusiasm shown by children in the work they perform and by the educational community is worth mentioning the work done by all members, representatives of the brotherhoods, which make up the Investigation Board of Education and Coexistence.

Moreover, exposure has been completed in this time with a craft show, conducted by master craftsmen totaneros, in which icons represent the Easter and the exhibition of paintings by David Duran.

To this is added the clay representation of the steps of Holy Week performed by Alberto Marín 12.

From the Investigation Board of Education and Coexistence of Illustrious Cabildo Processions Higher thanked everyone for their cooperation, and recalled that the exhibition will run until 10 April in the afternoon from 18:00 to 21:00 hours and holidays, 12:00 to 14:00.

For his part, Mayor of Totana expressed his satisfaction at the high involvement and noted that it "should serve to encourage participation in such activities, being aware, in a fun, of what it means for the totaneros and totaneras Holy Week and thanked all those involved the support and your interest to realize this activity.
