The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" in their line of collaboration with the business of the town, has signed a collaboration agreement with Antonio Rojo, responsible for a landscaping company for the training of project participants Labor, in the basic skills needed for landscaping, lawn care and pool maintenance.

Under this agreement, on Friday March 18 five youths of the town started this training will last thirty hours of theory and practice.

On this occasion, with the collaboration of the Department of Services to the City Hall of Totana, which provided the necessary materials and public spaces for professional practice, has worked in the treatment of wood and painted the banks located in the Street Mallorca, techniques interior painting, repairing the classroom reinforcing local educational and social El Parral metal processing, treating the exterior of the premises of "Alvagón" (located in the Parque de Los Conquistadores).

Along with these practical training, on March 14 began training in techniques of active job search on the premises of the Department of Citizen Participation, nineteen participants will cover over fifty hours.

Among inter alia, the work of market entry modes of work, each participant's career goals, knowledge about the reality of the labor market of the municipality as well as the completion of the resume and cover letter, while practices conducted job interviews and other job search techniques.

All these activities take place in the framework of the work, a step towards the employability Collective The Candil developed with funding from the Instituto Murciano-IMAS Social Action, and the European Social Fund.

Responsible for the Candle have asserted that this intensive work, a collaboration with the regional public administration both at home and the special sensitivity of the local business community, is making substantial progress in the employability of people with difficulties, despite difficult economic conditions being experienced by our economy.
