The Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC) will be unveiled on Wednesday March 16 to mark the "Day of Consumer Rights."
This site, located on the side of Santa Eulalia Avenue, next to the weekly market, will continue with the campaign to collect signatures to be considered the power consumption for the purposes of VAT as a supply of staples established 8 per cent and not 16, as stated before.
The councilman of Consumption, María Isabel Sánchez Ruíz, has indicated that as every year, takes the opportunity to "get the OMIC to the street" taking direct contact with consumers outside of the attention we do, on demand, in-house office.
Furthermore, it takes the opportunity to approach the consumer issues such as supplies, warranties, repairs, procedures of inquiries, complaints and complaints, consumer fraud, among other things.
This year especially, is going to make an impact on energy savings in electricity bills.
This will distribute materials - leaflets and posters - related to electricity consumption.
