Totana City Council last night received a mention in the Quality Awards IV Building in the Region of Murcia, which twice a year gives the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, in recognition of the rehabilitation and improvement actions undertaken in recent years in the architecture of the chapel of La Santa, and more specifically in the resort of La Santa.
The Gala Awards IV Building Quality in the Region of Murcia was held at the Teatro Cervantes de Abarán and was attended by Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Council of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia , and Industry, José Antonio Valverde Queen.
Likewise present were the manager of Santa Eulalia Hotel Monasterio, Fernando Mendez, and the architect who has directed all the actions promoted by the City Council in the architectural complex of La Santa, Francisco Guerao.
The prize is awarded in the category of "Buildings Tourist Use", so come to recognize, in particular, the set of improvement actions carried out on site and in the outbuildings at the sanctuary.

During the award ceremony held at the Teatro Cervantes de Abarán, José Ballesta was accompanied by the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, President of the Association of Surveyors, Architects and Engineers Technical Building, Carmelo Carrasco, Frecom president, Fulgencio Belando, regional president of Caja Mediterráneo, Angel Martinez, the manager of the Foundation Cajamurcia, Pascual Martínez.

The building of the Municipality of Cartagena has won the Regional Award in the category of "Institutional Building of Use."

For its part, the Hotel Termas de Archena has won the Regional Award in the category of Tourist Use buildings and has received mention the Hotel Monasterio de Santa Eulalia, Totana.
Regarding the section on other uses, the Regional Prize was shared between the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia (MUBAM) and Víctor Villegas Auditorium in the capital, with a mention of the Teatro Cervantes de Abarán.
The Casino de Murcia has received the Regional Award in the new category of Rehabilitation.
Unanimity of the jury, Antonio Garrido Hernandez has been awarded the Special Prize for the professional work on a proposal of the Association of Surveyors, Architects and Engineers Technical Building the Region of Murcia.
The jury has had with representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Land Management, Service Quality Management in the Community Building, College of Architects, the Regional Federation of Municipalities, the Regional Federation of Employers Construction of the Region, the Regional Federation of Employers of the Metal, Caja Mediterráneo, Cajamurcia Foundation, the Association of Technical Architects, the College of Estate Managers and the Construction Technology Center.
