More than 500 people have benefited from 26 training activities organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Citizenship totanera aimed at the population and give priority to immigrants at risk of social exclusion in 2010.
About more than 60 people gathered yesterday at the hands of these areas, municipal councilor, Juan Carrion, diplomas accrediting courses were organized during the months of November and December.
Of the 500 people who have participated in courses throughout the year, as explained Carrión, involved some 230 immigrants mostly from Ecuador and Morocco and about 280 people near the town of Totana, of which 65% have been women and 35% men.
15% of the participants are part of an entity or non-profit association of the municipality.
The offer has received training offered courses, workshops, lectures, etc of various kinds, Child Care, Care for dependents, computer training, psychosocial support and personal growth and family, social projects, literacy, knowledge of resources the environment, fashion, healthy habits, among others.
Among the evaluation results of the training, according to the mayor, it should be noted the consistently high participation, compliance with the objectives, the incorporation of jobs by some participants as well as the degree of their satisfaction.
