The bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena presides over the Eucharistic celebration in honor of Santa Eulalia on his name day (10/12/2010)

The bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, José Manuel Lorca Planes, has chaired this morning's Eucharistic celebration in honor of Santa Eulalia along with a dozen priests in the region and the vicar of area, Don Francisco Frutuoso.

On the day of the saint's day of Santa Eulalia, Totana patron of the church of Santiago has been the meeting point where the political authorities, civil and ecclesiastical authorities have invoked and shown their devotion to the image of the Virgin.

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, along with more of the municipal councilors and members of the Foundation have received the Holy thanked the Bishop and his visit to Totana in such an important day.

This afternoon, from 17:00 pm, there will be a solemn procession of Santa Eulalia that depart from the Church of Santiago and travel through the main streets of town
