Hundreds of villagers in a procession to accompany the patron Santa Eulalia from the hermitage of San Roque to the parish of Santiago (09/12/2010)

Municipal and religious authorities of the town, and hundreds of totaneros, yesterday in a procession accompanied the image of Santa Eulalia de Mérida until his arrival in the parish of Santiago, where he was received with full honors after his move in procession from the Ermita de San Roque.

From early in the afternoon an institutional committee chaired by the deputy mayor, Juan Carrion, and various members of the government team, religious leaders, members of the Foundation and The Holy City Music Group Totana, have come to the chapel San Roque, where after the encounter with the image of Santa Eulalia's accompanied by a procession to the parish church.

Attendees have been gathering all the way in two long lines, carrying hundreds of candles lit by the entrance of the night to reach the Plaza de la Constitution.
