The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, along with the mayor of Culture, Esther Esparza, and more local authorities attended the opening of Belén La Venta de Los Pinos installed in the Brotherhood of Calvary and the Lord's Supper which was blessed by the pastor of the Church of Santiago Antonio Salvador Perez.
The opening ceremony, which attracted large audiences, was also the performance of the group "Charrasqueado."
This spectacular panoramic Nativity scene, with dimensions of 15x3 square meters space with three meters tall, and was performed by local artist Periago Javier Carrillo, who has employed all year in their design and preparation.
The crib can be visited until January 9, from 18:00 to 21:00, respectively.
The crib is raised, according to its author, on a platform composed of 33 modules, and has 3,000 watts of lighting, a marina with over 600 liters of water and more than 200 figures.
For its preparation has been used 700 kg of gypsum and 20 kg of cola.
It presents innovative sets that are released as the "Annunciation to Mary" and "Annunciation to the Shepherds", while one of the most striking is the great Procession of the Magi who has a total of 21 pieces.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, congratulated the author who "has shown that it has become one of the best belenistas Murcia Region with this amazing Bethlehem loaded with details that make it unique."
