The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Promotion and Employment, José Antonio Valverde Queen, visited the students as part of Initial Vocational Training Program in "Aesthetic Auxiliary Services, which is being developed in the CLD.
Valverde Queen recalled that the 15 young people who are part of this project that are not over 21, learn all the processes related to the world of aesthetics and getting training in a field in which the workforce requires a certificate of studies training.
Queen Valverde explained that thanks to a grant awarded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of more than 48,000 euros, is offering a training course for young people especially have problems in the labor market.
During the course, also be encouraged to develop attitudes of respect, coexistence and social participation.
Elaborating on the contents of the course, the mayor has indicated that the main objectives are to learn the basics of makeup and hair, and manicure and pedicure, paying attention to customers, and preparing equipment, materials and work areas in terms of quality, safety and hygiene.
Also, Valverde Queen has indicated that the purpose of the grant for these programs, according to the order 2.7.2010, is to provide students who participate in basic and vocational training, thus enabling them to join the work force or continue their studies , so that the acquisition of these skills related to aesthetics, the young end of this program.
For his part, Mayor of Totana explained that youngsters have the opportunity of entering the working world and have a job related to the world of aesthetics such as: waxing, mechanical employee, assistant manicure and pedicure , or assistant makeup.
In addition, it also will offer students the possibility to obtain the title of the ESO, so there is a step in the training and expertise of the youth sector.
