Representatives from the Foundation inaugurated last night the Holy exhibition of drawing and writing on the Patron Saint Eulalia of Mérida that have made sixth grade school and first of the ESO from different schools in Totana, and that remains exposed in Church of Santiago.
The exhibition was inaugurated by President of the Foundation and pastor of St. James, Antonio Salvador Perez, and Presidency councilman, Josefa María Sánchez, who were accompanied by other members of this body, the Councillor for Culture, Esther Esparza, representatives Totana educational community.
The ceremony was also attended by principals, teachers and students in some of the participating schools, such as "The Cross", "Santiago", "Reina Sofia" and "The Miracle", among others, as well as the president of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions, Juan Zamarreño Mary, and members of its board.
Similarly, presented a booklet published by the Foundation and sponsored by The Santa "La Caixa", with 16 illustrations by artist and teacher Vincent Triburcio, presented in a didactic way the life of St. Eulalia of Merida.
The document offers a number of methodological suggestions for students, since it is accompanied by texts of the teacher and fellow at the Foundation Juan Cánovas Mulero, on the figure and the testimony of the patron saint of Totana.
This will be distributed to all schools of the municipality with the aim of bringing the devotion, zeal and faith to Santa Eulalia to the younger in a pedagogical, and will also be used with children attending second preparation Catechesis for First Communion and third year of primary school.
Users can personalize the booklets and color illustrations, as well as a tool for them to approach and know the meaning of the martyr Santa Eulalia and the time and conditions of the historical context in which he lived.
