Totana City Council has worked in the activities of the II Sustainable Naturolimpiada Espuña a walking route organized by the Sports Council which took place on Sunday 14 November.
The route ran through part of the newly created "Water Trail" which starts in Totana and ends at the hamlet of New Homes Mülenen.
During the trip the environmental educator and program guide, Javier Ramirez, entertained at the output with different interpretive talks natural heritage of the area.
The total distance traveled was about 15 kilometers, covering sights such as the site of Treebeard, Casa de la Muela, Alpurchil Hoya, Casa del Cura or Barranco del Ciervo.
The path ended in the arena of new homes where the participants could test their aim with the activities organized by the championship Naturolimpiada as archery and shooting slingshots.
After lunch the group was returning back to Totana.
The next outing will be held at Mazarrón mines, no doubt a place of great geological and ethnographic.
