The Department of Environment has launched a series of talks on the environmental awareness of waste collection which will be given a yellow recycling bin of 40 liters for the people who participate in them.
This project, conducted under the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community and Spain SA Ecoembalajes which is assigned the city of Totana, intends to conduct an environmental awareness campaign on recycling.
As reported by the mayor of the Environment, Trini Cayuela, thus encouraging waste separation at source, reports on the proper use of the green dots is increased citizen participation in recycling.
The talks are aimed at children in schools, young people and adults, and to be performed by an expert in the field monitor in schools, in the Municipal Center on Aging, Citizen Participation and in social premises of the various districts of the municipality.
Cayuela explained that the talks encompass the set of actions to increase recycling and develop a dynamic and interactive work where issues related to collection, benefits, contributions, improvements in waste collection, etc. .
All those involved in the talks will get a bucket of 40 liters yellow.
