The Ciudad Deportiva "Espuña" takes from 27 to 12 December, the first Tennis Open organized by the Sierra Club Deportivo Espuña within the sports program of the festivities in honor of Santa Eulalia.
The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Queen, along with tournament officials have brought this activity to be attended by students from the sports club and guests throughout the Region of Murcia.
Valverde Queen recalled that the Sports City can host the tournament thanks to the implementation of the five tracks that have this complex, two synthetic and three clay courts.
The mayor congratulated the club members for organizing this championship in which all participants must be licensed or in process of issuing the same, "a fact that gives this much sporting championship."
For its part, Patricia Salas, directors and tournament referee, explained that the Open has two side tournaments, the Kids and Cadet and Absolute.
On the one hand, for the championship winning male child is a prize of 125 euros, and the runner-up 80 euros, all in sports equipment and lot of typical products, for its part, for the female child 100 euros the winners and runners-up in 60 for sports equipment and a lot of local products for each.
On the other hand, in the senior and cadet men's champion will be 150 euros and 100 euros runners, plus a lot of typical products.
In the women's side will be 125 euros and 100 for subcampenonas plus batch.
