IV open paddle "Uncle Pencho" (02/11/2010)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Council of Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen, Education, Trini Cayuela, and Youth, Juan Antonio Scope, yesterday handed trophies "IVAbierto Paddle" and awards "II Competition writing ", framed in the Cultural Days" Uncle Pencho "in the Club de Tenis de Totana.

The third edition of the Open Paddle IV Uncle Pencho, organized by the Tennis Club, in collaboration with the city of Totana, concluded yesterday with the win for the pairing of Javier Escalante and Angel Ruiz, who defeated the final Fran pairing of Abellaneda and David Franco.

In the women, the victory went to the couple formed by Teresa Cespedes Ring and Lola.

In the second category of local men and Paul Costa Pedro Cánovas became victorious.

On the other hand, during the ceremony proceeded to the delivery of "Writing Contest II" framed in cultural days "Uncle Pencho", in which participated students of different schools in the municipality.

In the editorial section of the winners were Pedro Jose Sanchez Perez Prado IES Mayor, to which he gave a camera; Guerao Fernando Serrano, the IES Juan de la Cierva, who was presented with a console, and Andreo Alba Valenzuela , the Reina Sofía School of Totana.

The latter was the big winner in this section and was rewarded with a laptop.

Andreo Alba's work will be published by the newspaper 'The Truth'.

Totana Mayor welcomed the successful convening and participation in this tournament, which "promotes the town in an extraordinary way" and noted the enthusiasm, drive and dedication of the Club de Tenis.
