To mark the jubilee year of Caravaca de la Cruz, on the 17th of October, all members of the Brotherhoods of the Diocese of Cartagena may participate in a meeting a stranger in Caravaca de whole body regional Nazarene, said the Illustrious Senior Cabildo Processions of Totana in a statement.
In the Catholic tradition, the Jubilee is a major religious event, is the year of remission of sins, reconciliation between adversaries, of conversion and penance and sacramental, consequently, solidarity, hope and justice.
This pilgrimage, organized by the Diocesan Delegation Fraternities and guilds under the slogan "United to our Bishop and embracing the Cross, aims to overcome the participation figures reached in the previous Jubilee Year 2003.
Totana, city rooted in the Nazarene, will participate in this pilgrimage seeing represented by the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Superior, local institution that is organizing this massive event basking in Caravaca.
Is scheduled on the 17th of October, about 100 people in our town to move the bus to the town of Caravaca, specifically to Temple Square, a meeting of all the pilgrims from the region.
From there, split a pilgrim procession that will travel several streets of this city.
This procession will follow an established order to organize the large number of pilgrims brethren who are expected to attend.
Thus, the Cross of the pilgrims will this train, followed by the band of the Brotherhood of St. Peter the Apostle in Yecla, the pilgrims of the guilds in alphabetical order of populations with a poster that separates them and their respective standards Cabildo, different bands and Calasparra Caravaca that is sandwiched between processions of pilgrims.
At this point is to confirm the possible involvement of a band of horns and drums in our municipality.
Behind them, the passage of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno de Caravaca, ecclesiastical authorities, civil authorities and finally, the band of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows Ricote.
The procession ends at the Basilica de la Vera Cruz, where he held a Mass presided by the Hon. And Rt. Mr Don Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
After the Mass we will go to a restaurant in the city to enjoy a meal with the pilgrims.
