The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and union representatives of the City of Totana, held a meeting to establish the minimum services to all those who depend directly or indirectly from the Consistory, in anticipation of the general strike statewide on September 29, 2010.
During their meeting, the municipal chief also wanted to make clear that their duty is to "ensure both the right to strike as anyone who wants to go to their jobs can."
In this regard, he stressed that "the City will open like any other weekday and the services will work depending on the number of workers who attend."
With regard to the provision of essential services, aimed at citizens of Totana, which are considered essential by the decision of City Hall, there is an obligation on staff, even minimal infant schools, the Occupational Center "José Moya Trilla," the SAC, Social Welfare, Municipal Library Services, Facility Management and City Archaeological Dig "La Bastida".
