The five Edutec the municipality, including "Space Tallinn, where their activities are conducted in English, reopened its doors every evening with fun activities and educational support.
This initiative, carried out by the Collective for Social Promotion "The candle" and driven by the Department of Youth, funded by the Spanish Plan for Stimulating the Economy and Employment, continues its social and educational work.
This program is conceived as a hotline for children and young people of the municipality in its own environment, encouraging active participation of the population as a reference area and creating meeting places near neighbors.
The Edutec have a daily average number of participants over 150 children in the activities offered and this year have been collected more than 400 entries since opening in April.
Within Edutec there are two different spaces.
In the play area are several activities that can be performed.
The programming includes various themes on which monthly work through games, workshops and guided by the monitors.
You can also find games, play-station, craft workshops, movies, tournaments, ping-pong, football, and all within the best environment, inclusive, intercultural and above all respectful to all participants.
Specifically, for the last quarter of 2010 the themes chosen are: health and physical health, environmental awareness and environmental education through the different seasons.
On the other hand, Strengthening Education Classrooms where students can register both Primary and Secondary, are equipped to study and carry out assignments and whose leaders serve doubts in the implementation of those tasks, help prepare examinations, offering support in subjects where needed, while providing supplementary educational material and keep track of students.
The times in which these centers will be open from September to December are: Edutec "Puzzle" with free activities in the offices "El Parral" (behind the swimming pool), Monday through Friday from 17 to 20 hours , "Edutec Alvagón" with free activities in conquistadors Park (along College District) Monday to Friday from 16.30 to 19.30, "Edutec Parcheesi" with free activities in the social Tirol-Camilleri, Monday through Friday from 16.30 to 19.30, "Edutec Colorines" with free activities "in the social Paretón-Cantareros Monday to Friday from 17.00 to 20.00 hours," Space Tallinn, Edutec English, in the offices "San Roque" to Monday October from 16:00 to 19:00 hours on Tuesdays from 17:00 to 20:00 and Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00 hours with a monthly fee of 25 euros.
Concerning the strengthening of free school in the "Edutec Puzzle" from Monday to Thursday from 17:00 to 19.30 hours in the Social Housing Argentina Street Monday and Wednesday from 16:00 to 18:00, and in "Tallinn Space "Monday through Thursday from 17:00 to 19:30.
