The councilman of Culture, Esther Martinez Esparza, has launched a comprehensive program of activities for the first semester of the academic year 2010/2011, which will be held at People's University of Totana, and which includes a total of 8 courses from different areas expression and knowledge, which will start from next October 4.
Registration for the courses offered by the Department of Culture, through the People's University will be held from 20 to 23 September in the offices of the Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail" from 10:00 to 14:00 hours and 17 : 00 hours to 20:30 hours.
The courses are scheduled Embroidery, Cooking, Dressmaking, Crafts, Painting, Biodanza and Digital Photography.
For the registration of Music course (beginner and advanced guitar, lute, mandolin and acoustic bass) will have to perform in the afternoon of Oct. 7 at the underside of the Senior Center.
The mayor of Culture has stated that, according to standards established by the Universidad Popular de Totana, it will be necessary to have a minimum number of students enrolled per course and have at least 16 years of age.
It also noted that all applications for registration made after the deadline are based on seat availability or be considered on a waiting list.
