More than 400 students of the fifth year of Primary Education of nine schools of Totana participated today in the Day of Popular Games that has been celebrated in the Sports City "Valverde Reina", from 9:30 to 13:30 hours, organized by the Department of Sports and in which the students and faculty of the TAFAD of the IES "Miguel Hernández" of Alhama have collaborated in its organization.
The students of the schools participated in the activity: Reina Sofía, Tierno Galván, La Milagrosa, Santa Eulalia, La Cruz, Comarca Deitania, San José, Luis Pérez Rueda and Guadalentín.
On this occasion, they have practiced activities such as Balonkorf, Holes Locos, Botebol, Freesby, Sack Race, Marbles, Chapas, Caliche, Parachute, Bowling Huertanos, among others;
divided into two shifts.
This activity, which has been organized by the Department of Sports in recent years, has assisted the councilman of the field, Isabel María Molino, along with the coordinator of this day of the IES "Miguel Hernandez" of the neighboring town, Manuel Morillas .
The councilor has indicated that this activity is a very important opportunity for schoolchildren, since it encourages them and at the same time makes them aware of popular traditional games.
Finally, he has taken the opportunity to thank the students of the TAFAD of the IES "Miguel Hernández" of the town of Alhama, as well as the teachers in general and the teachers of Physical Education of the Totana schools for their involvement and collaboration in this activity.
