The Town Hall of Totana will celebrate, again, on Thursday, October 12, at 13:00 hours, the institutional act of homage to the Spanish Flag coinciding with the Day of Hispanity and the onomastics of the Virgin of Pilar, patroness of the Civil Guard, in the place of the Constitution of this locality, in front of the temple of Santa Eulalia.
At 11:00 a traditional Eucharist will take place in the Convent of the Three Maras Aves in which the agents of the Benemérita perform a tribute to the members of the Corps who died in service;
reason why the institutional act will be celebrated at the end of the mass.
Once the eucharist ends, as of 13:00 hours, civil and military authorities belonging to EVA 13 and agents of the Civil Guard, will move to the Plaza de la Constitución, where the Totana Music Group and the Santiago Choir interpret the national anthem and the flag will be hoisted in an act that will allow to honor the national insignia and to the Corps and Forces of Security of the State.
The plenary of the City Council of Totana agreed, precisely, last week to re-celebrate this simple institutional act.
