The Department of Sports, through the Association "Fun, Leisure and Diversity", will launch a school course plus the program "School Sports", a project that is offered to the schools of Primary and Secondary Education of Totana the offer of extracurricular activities in the facilities of each of the schools.
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, and the head of this association, Juan Carlos Serrano, have presented this program to be held from October to May 2017;
and which complements the activities of the "School Sport" program.
The hours are from 16:00 to 18:00 hours, one or two hours a week depending on what the user wants, and has a cost of 40 euros each quarter, since it will be paid every three months.
The brothers will pay an amount of 40 euros.
In addition, there is the possibility of playing sports one day a week with a cost of 30 euros per month.
In the event that there are not enough students in a center to celebrate the activities, they will be grouped in another nearby teaching center to not stop practicing sport.
The times and days, which will be from Monday to Thursday, will be fixed specifically for each level in each of the schools of Totana.
The information will be posted on school bulletin boards;
and inscriptions are made through these.
The students of Early Childhood Education will develop activities related to a psychomotricity program, while those of Primary will carry out activities to initiate sports practice in the same sports disciplines that were offered in the "School Sport" project, they explained.
The mayor thanked this association for its willingness to start the project, which includes professionals trained and qualified in the sports field;
and encouraged parents to benefit from these complementary extracurricular activities.
The program has the objectives of strengthening the public sports management of the Council, offering a training project as a complement to the educational centers and become a tool for ongoing collaboration with all sports clubs in Totana.
The head of this association, Juan Carlos Serrano, requested the parents' confidence to develop an initiative that strengthens their physical, educational and playfulness.
