A total of 3,711 students of Primary and Secondary Education began today the school year 2017/2018 with normality in the eleven schools in the municipality of Totana, according to sources inform the City Council of Education.
Of these, 1,140 students were enrolled in Early Childhood Education and 2,573 were enrolled in Primary Education courses, although this figure can be modified substantially in the coming days until Totana's schools do not close the final schooling of students to the present course.
The Municipal Commission of Schooling Totana will meet, in fact, shortly to define this situation in each of the schools in Totana and evaluate the start of the school year in Totana.
The Councilor for Education, Eulalia Moreno, will make a detailed balance of the beginning of the 2017/2018 school year in the municipality in the coming days, once you have all the final and updated schooling data;
as well as information about this new school period in the centers of Early Childhood and Primary Education in the municipality.
Totana teaches Early Childhood and Primary Education in schools "Santa Eulalia", "Santiago", "Comarcal-Deitania", "Luis Pérez Rueda", "Tierno Galván", "San José", "La Cruz", "Reina Sofía", "La Milagrosa", "Guadalentín" in El Paretón and the one in Lébor.
On the other hand, in compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato as well as Adult Education, the start will be on September 18 and Vocational Training will start on September 25.
In all of the teachings the end of course date would be June 22, 2018.
This course, each municipality has redesigned its school calendar adapting its school days to the local peculiarities and to the own families, so that the municipalities Murcia had the possibility to fix the calendar in the different non university teaching, the periods of vacations and on non-school days.
