The Local Police of Totana will join the System of Integral Monitoring of cases of Gender Violence (24/08/2017)

The Local Police of Totana is going to be incorporated into the so-called System of Integral Monitoring of cases of Gender Violence promoted by the Ministry of the Interior, which was approved in full last June, in compliance with the agreement of collaboration with this body Ministerial through a collaboration agreement between both administrations.

In the period 2005/2015, successive specific plans have been developed for the prevention, assistance and protection of gender-based violence, such as the current National Strategy for the Eradication of Violence against Women and the Second Comprehensive Plan to Combat Trafficking Of Women and Girls for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

In this context, the Plenary of Totana agreed to the adhesion of the Local Police of this locality to the Protocol of Collaboration and Coordination between the Forces and Bodies of State Security and the Local Police Corps for the protection of victims of domestic violence And gender, "signed on March 13, 2006, and the procedures and forms of collaboration on gender violence of the Local Police with the State Security Forces and Corps were finalized.

In this line of collaboration, the Consistory totanero has asked the Ministry of the Interior to incorporate the Local Police of Totana to the "System of Integral Monitoring of Cases of Gender Violence."

The Ministry of the Interior, through the Secretary of State for Security and the City Council will adapt the technical computerized mechanisms necessary for members of the Local Police Corps of Totana acting on Gender Violence to join the "Comprehensive Monitoring System Of the cases of Gender Violence "of the Ministry of the Interior.

The Technical Services of the said Ministry and those of the City Council of Totana will jointly study the necessary procedures to adapt their computer systems and allow the necessary connections, executing them each in their area of ​​competence.

In addition, the Secretary of State for Security of the Ministry of the Interior will provide the training necessary for new users of the System to know its content and operation.

To this end, it will organize the appropriate training activities, in agreement with the City Council, aimed at the members of the Local Police who carry out functions in matters of Gender Violence.

The Secretary of State for Security, through the computer services, will carry out the necessary security checks and verify the integrity of the data stored in the system and the correct use of the same by the various users.

The said agreement will have a validity of four years from the date of its signature and will be renewed unanimously for another four years, unless the express denunciation, written in advance, of thirty days, made by one of the parties.
