Alejandro Cánovas Burgos, a 17-year-old high school student, has been the winner of the "Young Joven '2017" Photography Contest, organized by the Youth Department, whose award has been presented at the Centro Cultural Sociocultural "La Cárcel ", The Councilor for Youth, Inmaculada Blázquez Acosta.
Precisely, the works, which were entitled "Tourmaline", "Sapphire" and "Lapislázuli", remain exposed in this cultural center, whose unique prize was endowed with € 200.
The Councilor of Youth thanked the participation to the people who have attended the contest and the members of the jury, composed of Pedro López Esparza and Lucía Martínez Aledo and chaired by the mayor himself.
He also explained that these contests contribute to promote and disseminate the work of local artists;
And added that the administrations have the obligation to promote artistic creation, in all its cultural manifestations.
