D. José Ruiz García, attended the V Meeting of Eulalia Associations held in Merida.
In the mentioned meeting, a special participation was the Patron Don Julian Larroya Miras who presented with great success the opening paper entitled "Eulalian Way Proposal", which reflected his recent bicycle pilgrimage to Merida, As well as a novel proposal of a stable route of pilgrimage, linking the two cities and passing through some of special interest.
Soon the Foundation La Santa, will present in our city the paper.
The organization of the Meeting was exquisite, starting with an institutional reception in the city council which was presided by Ms. María del Carmen Yáñez Quirós, first lieutenant mayor and by Maria de las Mercedes Carmona Vales, also councilor of the corporation Emeritense .
Serve these lines, to thank the Ayuntamiento de Mérida, sister city since 2003, the special sensitivity it has for the totanero visitors, and the magnificent welcome they provide.
The alma mater of the Meeting was undoubtedly the Virgin and Martyr Association of Santa Eulalia de Mérida, led by its President D. Miguel Miguel Gonzalez Perez, organized a magnificent stay, full of cultural events, playful and how could not be In other words, religious, culminating in the celebration of the Eucharist in the Basilica of Santa Eulalia, presided over by His Excellency.
