Last Friday was held in the Sports Center Moves a swimming competition on the occasion of the Fiestas de Totana.
More than seventy swimmers from Totana, Alhama and Mazarrón participated in the different tests raised by ages, ranging from 25 meters (the smallest) to 200 m freestyle (seniors) in the female and male categories.
The competition was a success of participation and public and the same attended the mayor of sports Isabel Molino that gave a deserved medal to all the participants.
As for the tests performed by the older ones:
In the 50 women's free year 2001 Carmen Méndez won, followed by Carlota Moneglia and Celia Cifuentes while in the 50 women's free year 2000 Alba Martínez followed by Lucía López and Chloe Bateman.
To emphasize the test of the 50 meters freestyle men of the year 2000 in which Lucio Cánovas Pizzarrone was imposed with a time of 30 "in a very tight series with Sergio Mendoza like 2Âº classified and José Miguel Sánchez 3Âº.
In the test of the 100m freestyle male absolute surprised the young Francisco Salinas (16 years) with a time of 1'07 "in a close match in which Miguel Cayuela came 2nd with 1'09" and José Félix Mula 3rd with a Time of 1'11 ".
In the men's 200 meters, José Félix Mula took the win with a time of 2Âº48 "in a finish photo finish in which Miguel arrived with a time of 2'49" and Javi Mora 2'55 ".
In the 100 meters freestyle men over 40 years Toni Lozano was imposed with a time of 1'15 "followed by José Miguel Cano with 1'20" and Gonzalo Andreo with 1'43. "In the same positions arrived these swimmers in the 200 free with a time for the 1Âº of 2'46 ".
Noemi Hernandez won the women's 100 with a time of 1'22 "while Rosa Hernandez was 2nd in the 100 women and 1st in the 200 with a time of 3'58" in this last test.
