The Department of Sports reports that last Friday 20 and Saturday 21 May took place in the athletics track of Alhama de Murcia Regional Final Athletics School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, where They are involving a total of 22 schools from totaneros schools Mayor Prado, Reina Sofia and La Milagrosa in this town.
They had the opportunity to participate in various disciplines of Athletics, like speed, endurance, long jump, shot put and relays.
In the juvenile male category, it is noteworthy second place achieved by Ismael Martínez Ibáñez (La Milagrosa) in the endurance test.
And in the category of male juvenile teams, the Colegio La Milagrosa finished in eleventh position, while juvenile female team Reina Sofía College finished in twelfth place.
In the male junior class, we must highlight the first place achieved by Pedro Martínez González (Prado Mayor) in the resistance test, and the third place team in the male junior category of IES Prado Mayor, formed by Pedro Martinez Gonzalez, Juan Pablo Ortiz Urena, Ulises García Sánchez, and Ayoub Mohamed Kaddouri Bouchiki.
Finally, in the female junior category, the Reina Sofía College finished in ninth place.
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies and medals to the top three finishers in each of the categories, where the Head of Sports General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, Eduardo Segarra Vicens were present;
the Mayor of Alhama, Diego Conesa Alcaraz, and Councilman Sports also from the same locality, José Antonio García box.
