At the University of Murcia, last February 19th regional Chemistry Olympiad was held on March 3 and held the Physics.
In these scientific competitions excellent students selected by their schools, public and private, throughout the Region of Murcia participate.
It aims to stimulate the study of these matters while selecting the best to represent Murcia in the relevant national Olympics.
Another year we are pleased to note that students International Baccalaureate IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu of Totana excel in these demanding tests, as five have been awarded, one of them twice in Chemistry and in the Physical.
They were as follows:
Alvaro Muñoz Terrones: 1st prize, qualified for the National Chemistry Olympiad and second prize in the Physics Olympiad.
Francisco Molina Canovas: Qualified for the National Physics Olympiad.
Raquel Diaz Mora: Ranked for the National Physics Olympiad.
Joaquín Sánchez Gómez: Second Prize in Physics Olympiad
José Serrano Guarino: Second prize in Chemistry Olympiad
From the totanero institute want to congratulate all the winning students and wish luck to the classified: Alvaro Terrones, who will travel to Madrid accompanied by his teacher kisca Ortiz Sobejano, Francisco Molina and Raquel Diaz, who will travel to Seville accompanied by his teacher Miguel Cañizares Millán to represent the Region of Murcia in the Spanish Olympics of Chemistry and Physics, respectively.
