[Murcia dedicates a privileged space to T o Juan Rita in the urban photographic exhibition organized to commemorate the Meeting of the Patiño Crews (13/01/2021)

The Murcia City Council has dedicated a privileged space to Juan Tudela Piernas, Uncle Juan Rita, in the large-format photographic exhibition that recalls the Patiño Gang Meeting, organized on the Paseo Alfonso X in the capital del Segura until next January 22. Uncle Juan Rita, Totana's Adoptive Son, died last September at 108 years of age after a long career in the world of popular folklore and, more specifically, trovo. The meeting, which was to be held last Sunday and was suspended for the first time in 33 years due to the health crisis, has been held uninterruptedly since 1989, an event popularly known as "Las pelotas de Patiño".
