From the Musical Group of Totana, as every year, we do not want to miss these important dates for musicians and for the people in general.
On November 22, Santa Cecilia, patron saint of music, is celebrated and, immediately, the dates of our patron saint festivities arrive in honor of Santa Eulalia.To celebrate all this in the conditions that we have had to live in and that, from our hearts, we want them to be as light as possible for all our neighbors and that they end or, at least, soften as soon as possible; The Musical Group has decided to carry out a Concert without an audience present, but which will be broadcast live on our YouTube and Facebook channels.The Association has continued working all this time, part from home and so far in the 2020/2021 academic year in person.
It has been a great personal and economic effort, but with the efforts of all and with the help of our City Council, a great job is being carried out both in the Band and in the music school of this Association.For all this we want, with this concert, to send a clear message of gratitude to all those who have given their grain of sand so that life continues in the most dignified way possible: health professionals, security forces and bodies, businessmen, hoteliers, merchants of all kinds, cleaning personnel, non-profit organizations, in short and not to leave anyone out, the entire population that has stepped up and, in a positive way, has wanted to put their daily effort in pursuit of the general interest and common to move our society forward; at the same time, we want to send another message of hope that little by little we will recover our "real normality".
