Last Wednesday, November 4, the Municipal Socialist Group together with the Mixed Group of the Totana City Council requested an Extraordinary and urgent Plenary to stop the transfer of the archaeological heritage of La Bastida and guarantee the security and surveillance of the pieces in Totana.Almost a week later, no response has been received from the Mayor to the request of said plenary session, which remains in the occult and the lack of transparency, denying the pertinent information to the residents of the municipality.The Socialist Group, given the lack of transparency on the part of the Government Team, believes that this issue should be debated and democratically agreed upon in full.
Therefore, it requests that the following points be addressed on an extraordinary and urgent basis:Inform the citizens of Totana about the current situation of La Bastida and its archaeological heritage, as well as the negotiations established with the General Directorate of Cultural Assets of the Autonomous Community.Require the Government Team to carry out the necessary procedures to stop the transfer of parts from La Bastida to the Alcantarilla warehouse.Maintain and guarantee surveillance in La Bastida, as has been done up to now.
