The Local Commission for Monitoring COVID-19 in Totana, which met today in the plenary hall, has addressed the joint actions that will be carried out in this flexible Phase 1 to achieve a favorable evolution; At the same time, the latest actions to be taken in the coming weeks to combat the pademic have been reported.This commission is made up of representatives of all municipal political groups; coordinators of the two Health Centers as well as those of Nursing; responsible for the Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection; and technicians from the Municipal Center for Social Services.The Municipal COVID-19 Monitoring Commission has been working since the beginning of the summer in Totana in order to monitor, step by step, the updated evolution of the pandemic in this municipality and coordinate decisions and joint actions agreed upon.During the same, the nature of the police and mobility controls that will be carried out randomly at the entrances to Totana between the Civil Guard and supported by the Local Police have been reported; as well as the marking of the places where they are to be carried out using a less suffocating and more effective formula.It has also become aware of the set of exceptional and urgent measures referred to, among which the restriction on the free entry and exit of people within the territorial scope of the municipality stands out; however, properly justified displacements will be allowed.In addition, spokespersons and groups have been exposed to the community health and social pilot project that the Murcian Health Service is going to launch in Totana; and the promotion of safer outdoor spaces has been advocated in order to offer alternatives of social dynamism to the population avoiding contagions.In addition, the COVID-19 Local Police Table agreed on Tuesday to establish random police controls during this time of the new flexible Phase 1, whose security device started late in the afternoon yesterday.The claim is to enforce specific and temporary measures for public health reasons to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 that appeared in recent weeks in Totana in order to face its unfavorable evolution.
