| A grant of 35,000 euros is awarded for the development of social care programs for the gypsy people | The Local Government Board has accepted the subsidy for the amount of 35,000 euros granted for the development of a comprehensive social care program for the Roma people, within the framework of the Roma Development Plan, financed by the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, through IMAS, and the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda for the year 2020. The purpose of this subsidy is to promote the promotion, prevention of exclusion, development, participation and social integration, favoring the improvement of qualifications and access to employment for the Roma population, among others. The projects must be comprehensive in nature, being able to contemplate actions in the areas of social inclusion, education, culture, employment, health, housing, non-discrimination and anti-Gypsyism, citizenship and participation. The project should start no later than October 1, 2020, and the actions to be subcontracted may not exceed 90% of the total amount awarded. The project includes two budgetary phases: the first, which has a credit of 30,730.96 euros; and the second, for a value of 4,269.04 euros, respectively.
