| For failing to comply with the prevention and containment measures against COVID-19 | The Totana Local Police has opened a total of 126 disciplinary proceedings, since the end of the state of alarm, for non-compliance with the prevention and containment measures against COVID-19.

In this case, due to violation of the General Law 33/2011 of Public Health and of the precepts of Decree-Law 8/2020, of July 16, which establishes the sanctioning regime for non-compliance with the prevention and containment applicable in the Region of Murcia to face the health crisis caused by the pandemic.According to sources from the Local Police Headquarters, 68 of them have been opened during the last 7 days, of which 61 of them were due to non-compliance with the obligation to use masks or their inappropriate use (not covering nostrils and chin), which can be sanctioned from € 100.00 to € 3,000, depending on the circumstances.The rest have been opened to holders of various hotel establishments for various reasons:- 5 disciplinary proceedings have been opened for not reporting the capacity, social distance and mandatory use of the mask and for non-compliance with prevention and hygiene measures when it affects less than 15 people, which can be sanctioned from 100 euros to 3,000 euros, in depending on the circumstances.

In case of recidivism or other circumstances, the closure of said premises will be proposed.- 2 disciplinary proceedings have been opened for serious infractions (sanctioned from 3,001 euros to 60,000 euros), one for non-compliance with prevention and hygiene measures, more than 15 people being affected, and another for the denial of collaboration to the agents of the authority .

Likewise, as it is a serious offense, said premises will be proposed for closure to the competent body.
