The book loan service by appointment is already resumed at the "Mateo García" Municipal Library this Monday, August 24, according to sources from the Department of Culture.
It has been closed, due to staff vacations, from August 8 to 23.The Department launched on May 25 this service in the municipal library "Mateo García", with the new measures that once corresponded to phase 1, through an exclusive service for book returns.Users must deposit the books in a bag in the box enabled so that this material passes the appropriate quarantine before putting them back into circulation.In this way, the entrance to the "La Cárcel" Sociocultural Center building is temporarily enabled for the aforementioned book return service in order to prevent users from accessing the first floor, thus avoiding greater risk.In the enabled space, only one person is allowed access, having to wait their turn; and being expandable in the future for the loan service, once the health authorities authorize the passage to the next phase.These measures continue to be used once the loan is established by appointment for both services, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m.
to 1:30 p.m., respectively.
