They begin the hiring to develop the program "Making Community 2020" aimed at the gypsy community of Totana (19/08/2020)

The Local Government Board has initiated the file for contracting the service called "Development of the Hacienda Comunidad 2020 program", which will be processed through a simplified open procedure with various award criteria.This process is developed in light of the need for the Department of Social Welfare to hire this service, which considers as the target population the gypsy community of the municipality of Totana that is in a special situation of difficulty, risk or social exclusion, from an integrating and globalizing perspective .The program will complement the intervention carried out by the Center for Social Services and aims to offer this population a more comprehensive social care, covering needs from their own involvement and leadership.This is executed through the development of a series of interrelated actions, fundamentally group and community in nature, such as the educational reinforcement of the adolescent population, the revitalization of the adolescent population in their free time and the gypsy community in general.In addition, it includes a theoretical-practical training course on personal image (includes conciliation measures); and information, orientation and referral to training resources and job offers.The project is developed within the framework of the Gypsy Development Plan, financed by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare for 2020, with the participation of the Totana City Council.This is financed by means of a direct subsidy for 2020, by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through IMAS, an autonomous body dependent on the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and by the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare.In this regard, an external contracting is proposed because this Program requires the participation of human resources that exceed the possibilities of the Social Services Center both due to their number and the characteristics of the activities, and given the urgency of launching the same.
