The Local Government Board has approved the annual contribution of 12,000 euros from the Totana City Council to the La Santa Foundation to collaborate in its operating and maintenance costs for said entity.The Foundation of La Santa, created by common agreement between the Totana City Council, representing the town of Totana and the Bishopric of Cartagena, representing the Catholic Church, has as its main mission to preserve the nature of the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, popularly known like La Santa.In the Statutes of the La Santa de Totana Foundation, specifically in article 24, section d), there is a commitment to make an annual financial contribution for each of the founding entities, amounting to 12,000 euros.This agreement has been adopted, at the proposal of the Councilor for Culture and Celebrations, Verónica Carricondo, in order to comply with said agreement, as it has been carried out annually, given the existence of credit according to a report issued by the Department of Intervention .
