Public Health maintains that Totana's evolution is good, but insists that precautionary measures must be maintained so as not to expose the population (10/08/2020)

| Totana remains for the moment until Wednesday in phase 1 and in the next few days the Government will decide if it is extended or if the restrictions are lifted | The municipality has added 59 new cases since Wednesday of last week, which implies a progressive reduction in the rate that suggests a future lifting of the limitations implied by phase 1 in which the population is found.In recent days, the infections have been 11 (Thursday), 6 (Friday), 13 (Saturday) and 11 (Sunday).The health authorities appeal to the prevention of the residents of Totana to maintain the positive evolution.As in the neighboring town of Mazarrón, tests and monitoring of cases will continue to be carried out in collaboration with Social Services and Local Police agents, as discussed in the Local COVID-19 Monitoring Commission last week. Although from Public Health they affirm that "evolution is good" they continue to insist that precautionary measures must be maintained so as not to expose the rest of the population.In addition, they have announced that in Totana the Mazarrón model will be followed and will be followed up on a case-by-case basis with the help of municipal services.This was announced this Monday after the meeting of the pandemic monitoring commission held at the Palacio de San Esteban in Murcia.
