| Between today Saturday and next Monday, the Region of Murcia will suffer a heat episode that will take the thermometers to approach 40 ºC | It will not, therefore, be as suffocating heat as the one we registered a week ago.After the contained heat that we have enjoyed this week, today there will be a rise in temperatures that will cause the maximums of many points in the Murcia region to be around 38 ºC, always in low areas and depressions of the pre-coastline and inland .

For this reason, the yellow warning has been activated throughout the Region of Murcia, except in Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón.Tomorrow, Sunday, we will still notice a very slight rise in temperatures, so it will be possible to touch 40 ºC in some places, especially in Vega del Segura, a region where the orange warning is activated for this day.

In the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas, Northwest and Altiplano the warning will be yellow for maximums that can be around 39ºC.On Monday there will be a slight drop in temperatures, especially indoors, so we will notice a small thermal relief.

Even so, the yellow warning will continue to be activated in the Northwest, Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca y Águilas and Vega del Segura for maximums that can be around 38 ºC.NOTE: the warnings may be modified depending on the updates of the meteorological models.On Tuesday we will notice a clearer drop in temperatures, which will be closer to 35 ºC, not expecting, therefore, that any warning for high temperatures will be activated.At night we will also have high minimums, but not as much as last weekend, when it was very difficult to fall asleep.Given the atmospheric conditions, the risk of fires will be extreme today and tomorrow, and possibly also on Monday.

No storms are expected in this episode, so lightning strikes will not be a factor to take into account at the time of the possible start of a fire.
