The Totana City Council reminds that the restriction on the free entry and exit of the municipality is still in force (07/08/2020)

The Security Forces and Bodies, in this case Local Police and Civil Guard, are carrying out and will carry out controls in different main and secondary roads of Totana, where compliance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of July 23, 2020 (BORM nº169 of 07/23/2020)It is sanctioning with fines of up to 3,000 euros to all people who try to enter or leave the municipality without justified reason in article 2 of the aforementioned Order.Likewise, the surveillance of people who are in quarantine in their homes have been intensified, ordered by health professionals, either because they are positive cases or because they are close contact.On-site surveillance is being carried out several times 24 hours a day by agents in homes where it is known that there are possible breaches of these quarantines.The penalties can reach 600,000 euros, or even jail time in the event of a repeat offense or if it is proven that their conduct has been the cause of contagion by other people.The municipality of Totana is at a critical time for the control of the virus, and the individual responsibility of each of the inhabitants of Totana is essential for its control.
