| Although whoever enters or leaves without just cause will be penalized | The manager of the Murcian Health Service, Asensio López, and the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas, have reported that from tomorrow reinforcement personnel will be incorporated into the health centers of Totana. The announcement was made at the COVID-19 Local Monitoring Coordination Table, which it attended in this municipality and which met this morning to coordinate surveillance and control actions for the next few days.The meeting was also attended by the councilors of Health, Inma Blázquez, and Citizen Security, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez; representatives of municipal political groups; health personnel from the health centers of Totana; Civil protection; Civil Guard and Local Police; and Social Services technicians.Health officials have insisted that the population must be aware of the seriousness of the situation and that work is being done to control the situation, for which they request the collaboration of citizens respecting the measures adopted and especially compliance with quarantines of scrupulously.During the meeting, it was agreed to create a permanent technical coordination work group to improve the flow of information between health personnel and the security forces and bodies in order to better control the established quarantines.Likewise, regarding the control measures of accesses and exits to the municipality, the opening of road accesses has been made more flexible, replacing fixed controls with random controls, although it is recalled that entry or exit is not allowed without just cause and it is recalled that those who do not comply with the measures adopted in this regard will be penalized.This measure of eliminating fixed controls has also been taken in order to optimize the human resources that were being allocated to them in order to better supervise compliance with quarantines.Health and municipal officials insist that these improvements do not mean that the situation does not continue to be extremely serious and for this reason they point out that there can be no relaxation or that you can return to the starting point or much worse.
