| For the execution of the junctions in the works of the new pipeline on Calle Badajoz | The Department of Works and Infrastructures announces that tomorrow, Friday, June 26, the drinking water service in the "La Charca" urbanization will be cut, from 7:30 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m., due to the execution of the junctions to the new Badajoz street pipeline, with whose performance the works undertaken during the last weeks for the immediate commissioning of the supply will end.The works have allowed the renovation of the main drinking water pipeline located on Calle Badajoz in this urbanization, which is being carried out by the mercantile company "Hergasa 2006, SL" for an amount of 30,250 euros, which will last for a few weeks.Precisely, the Local Government Board had agreed in its last ordinary session to declare the emergency processing of the works before the detected problems of lack of pressure and flow to a significant number of residents of this urbanization.The problem appears to be due to various lime blockages that appeared in a section of the general drinking water distribution network located on the aforementioned road.

This irregularity affects the distribution of the main supply artery to the urbanization through which the secondary networks that are found in all the streets of the “La Charca” urbanization are connected.From the Municipal Water Service, various tastings have been carried out in recent days to, accessing the interior of the pipeline, try to locate and untangle the existing obstructions; whose performance has been impossible due to the large amount of lime deposits adhered for years.This condition was generating a significant incidence that impairs the provision of supply to almost all homes in this urbanization and surrounding areas; reason why the emergency for its immediate execution had been declared.
