The two motions presented by the Popular Party to be debated by the Municipal Plenary this June have been withdrawn by the Mayor so as not to give more information than they want to transmit to the neighbors. The Mayor refuses to debate in full the opening of the municipal swimming pools for this summer and the disinfection of green areas and cleaning of lots. From the Popular Group it was intended that the Government Team will explain in a real way and without deception the reason why this summer they do not open the municipal swimming pools, and urge the City Council to get to work in a real and reliable way and give solutions to the people of Totana and do not make a policy of sit-down and quick and easy solutions, taking refuge in the protection of health, that if we agree on that, we do not agree that we do not work to put the necessary means, just like They make private entities, private companies and other municipalities, to be able to carry out the work and the opportunities to the neighbors. From the Popular Group we think that given the situation that arises for this summer for the reconciliation of work and family life of working parents, the non-opening of these centers and sports and educational activities will create more chaos in the municipality, since alternatives are not created so that the neighbors can develop their workday. We want to know what is the true reality of the closure of the pools, what is really hidden behind this alleged responsibility? Could it be that the necessary works that were originally budgeted for (treatment of the treatment plant, for example) have not been done and this makes such opening impossible? We are not worth simple excuses. We respect to the maximum that the safety of the neighbors and their health is taken care of, but we doubt that in this case, and in many others, what happens is that the Councilor and the Mayor do not feel like working and empowering the means necessary to make this possible. The members of the corporation that are in the opposition, we have had to find out, as usual, through social networks and the media, of the actions carried out by a Government Team, which does not have a majority that allow you to do and undo at your leisure as you are doing, since the totaneros cast their votes the reading is very easy, the neighbors wanted a government of consensus and dialogue, something that the Mayor has not yet understood. We know that we must protect and safeguard the health of users and neighbors, just as companies, businesses, hoteliers and many entities do with their workers and clients, but at least we must work to achieve normality and not leave our arms down.

We demand that the Mayor fully debate the motions and proposals of the political groups and be brave and tell the whole truth to the totaneros, because we remind him again that he is the Mayor who has the least support in the history of democracy in Totana. We take this opportunity to ask the rest of the opposition groups to demand that the mayor put the issues on the table and not make decisions as if it were an absolute majority, because democracy has told him so. Another of the motions that has refused to debate and provide decisions is the one presented by the Popular Group to carry out the cures and cleaning of public gardens, as well as the cure against insects and pests that proliferate in trees and plants.
