| But the playgrounds for children will continue to be unusable | It is advisable not to use, in any way, the banks or fountains of these public green spacesThe parks and gardens of Totana and those of the different districts of the municipality are going to open gradually from today, although the children's play areas of these public venues may not be used yet due to the significant risk of contagion that exists and the impossibility to guarantee the hygienic-sanitary conditions of these infrastructures.The Councilor for Infrastructures, Services and Maintenance of the City, Pedro José Sánchez, has announced this measure to reopen green spaces that has been adopted following the recommendations and sanitary protocols, after the cleaning and conditioning of gardening work carried out during this week by municipal operators.Starting today, the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" is open to the public, with the exception of Wednesdays, which will be closed in the morning for security so that merchants can use public toilets and avoid cross-circulation of users.In addition, the green spaces of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel" –Jardines de Ramos Camacho- and Cruz Roja (Era Alta) are also opened; Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, Libertad and Francisco Palao; transfer gardens, El Rulo and Cruz de la Misión; Tierno Galván (El Parral urbanization); and the garden and skate park rink in the La Ramblica urbanization.The gardens of the Kiss of Judas, the heated pool and the Petanque Club (in front of the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez") are also open to the public; and the Ginés Cánovas and Buero Vallejo gardens, both in the Tirol-Camilleri neighborhood.Looking ahead to next week, the Ginés Sánchez Cánovas "El Palomo" gardens in the San José neighborhood and those of the El Paretón-Cantareros district will also be opened.The councilor insisted that the children's play areas, still not sealed, cannot be used due to the risk of contagion and the impossibility of guaranteeing the necessary conditions and pertinent cleaning and disinfection measures.The mayor stressed that the use of public benches in these open spaces is not recommended; and has announced that public fountains, both ornamental and consumer -with push button and foot- will remain closed; given that hygiene conditions cannot be guaranteed and there is a risk of contagion.
